TOP – customized applications for OSS/BSS systems
Computaris Telecom Orchestration Platform is a telecom middleware platform for building customized applications to complement and enhance existing OSS/BSS systems. Using the software suite, telecom operators can add testing, service creation and execution, provisioning, mediation, or even proprietary functionality to their telecommunication systems, allowing them to modernize and update existing infrastructures to ensure their ability to compete in the ever-changing telecom landscape. Computaris uses and offers its TOP platform to customers for building customized applications and solutions.

Converging Technologies
Today’s heterogeneous OSS/BSS infrastructures comprise a multitude of protocols, APIs and hardware systems preventing operators from quickly anticipating changed market requirements and spending hours – instead of days – to implement new features and services, whilst the high cost of forwarding and outsourcing change requests to traditional telecom vendors is a rather uninviting prospect.
Interoperable Solution
To address these issues and meet the everyday challenges of telecom operators, Computaris offers the Computaris Telecom Orchestration Platform integrating TOP Testing Suite and TOP Middleware, two powerful telecom products, in addition to a collection of Java-based software modules designed to assist telecom software engineers in creating customized applications for enhancing key telecom business processes, all from a single management GUI.
Major Telecom Protocols
Computaris’ Telecom Orchestration Platform supports all relevant major telecom protocols including Diameter, CAMEL, CORBA, Web Services, JDBC, FTP, LDAP, HTTP/S, RMI, and JMS. For the Diameter protocol, both the RFC 3588 (Diameter Base) and RFC 4006 (Diameter Credit-Control Application) standards are supported.
Modular Solution
TOP’s collection of software modules include dedicated modules for graphical service creation, tracing and debugging, orchestration, scripting, statistics, logging, order management in addition to open API modules for the configuration of Web ServicesMAP, INAP, OSA/Parlay, SIP and SNMP functionalities.
