Computaris is committed to protecting your privacy. Before providing us your details, please read the following information which concerns the protection of your personal data. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” means Computaris and “you” means the individual using the Computaris website (“Site”).

Your data

Computaris Romania SRL (the operator), with the office in 5th Gheorghe Manu Street, Sector 1, Bucharest, takes the privacy of its visitors’ data very seriously. We comply with the requirements of the European Union legislation regarding the protection and processing of any personal data we obtain from you. As per the provisions of the Law no. 677/2001 regarding the processing of personal data and the free circulation of this data, amended and completed, and of the Law no. 506/2004 regarding the processing of personal data and protection of private life in the electronic communications environment, Computaris must manage the data you provide us about you or any other person, in safety conditions and only for the specified purposes.

Computaris Romania SRL is registered with ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Naţională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal – The National Authority for Personal Data Processing) under the number 0028649/25.11.2015.


Computaris endeavours to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. All the data collected by us is stored on a secure server. The secure server software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. The registered information is meant for the exclusive use of the companies in the Computaris group.

Nature and purpose of data collection

Computaris processes the personal information you provide via the website (user name, password, email address, and optionally: company name, title or telephone number), directly and voluntarily, by filling in the download or registration forms.

The data is collected for advertising and marketing purposes. The refusal to provide this data makes it impossible to access the requested service (download of materials and/or subscription to newsletters). The collected data is meant to be used by the operator.

As per the provisions of the Law no. 677/2001, you have the right to access and modify data, the right to not be submitted to an individual decision, to submit a complaint to the supervising authority and the right to address a court of justice with respect to the decisions of the operator. You also have the right to oppose the processing of your data and to request the deletion or update of the data. The persons in question have the right to obtain from Computaris, upon request and free of charge, the confirmation that their data is or is not processed, except for the case of existing contrary legal provisions. In his request, the person may request that the information is sent to a specific address, which can also be an electronic address, or through a postal service with personal delivery. IP addresses

We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems, to administer our Site and to gather demographic information. When you visit our site we recognise only your domain name and not your e-mail address. We will see your e-mail address only if you give it to us by filling out a form or by sending us an e-mail message.

Email Privacy

This privacy policy is for subscribers to Computaris’ email communications. This policy covers what email lists we maintain, and what contact options are available from Computaris, as well as how users can update or change their information or preferences.

Computaris email policy overview

Computaris maintains a strict opt-in only policy in regard to its e-marketing communications. We only send email to individuals who have requested that these mailings be sent to them, or as part of an ongoing relationship we have with an individual or business.
Your right to control what mailings, if any, you receive from Computaris is important to us. The information below will assist you in understanding the different mailing options you have, and how you can notify us of changes in the mailings you wish to receive or to unsubscribe in general. Though we may include announcements from partners or other third parties in some communications, we do not provide email addresses to third parties.

Mailing lists and your subscription options

Proactive support and technical notifications: at peak industry times (e.g. Tax Year End) important notifications may be proactively provided to Customers. Computaris Customer Services may also send notifications regarding potential product/service issues.

New software/Services release notifications: Computaris may notify interested customers of new product/service/software release availability.

Periodic notifications on best practices and resources: Computaris maintains a list of contacts who have expressed an interest in receiving periodic announcements, and updates about telecom, IT and events; as well as marketing and product information from Computaris.

Transactional emails: Computaris typically sends an automated email confirmation when a form is completed requesting information from Computaris.

Customer support incidents and responses: responses to customer support or pre-sales support requests are handled through email, telephone or via fax.

Changing your subscription preferences

Customer and partner communications: as a Computaris customer or partner, you can update your communications preferences at any time by following the convenient links located at the bottom of emails from Computaris. Requests submitted in this manner are processed and effective immediately.

In addition, you may email a request to or reply to any Computaris requesting that your address be unsubscribed. Please be aware that unsubscribe requests submitted in this manner will take longer to process and will not be effective immediately.

Non-customer communications: as a web site visitor who has requested that we send you email updates, you can update your communications preferences or unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the relevant link within emails you receive from us. Unsubscribe requests submitted through this form are processed and effective immediately. In addition, you may email a request to or reply to any email from Computaris requesting that your address be unsubscribed. Please be aware that unsubscribe requests submitted this way will take longer to process and will not be effective immediately.

Transactional emails: you will only receive transactional emails from Computaris when you request information. There is no need to unsubscribe from these one-time mailings.

Customer support incidents and responses: you will only receive these email responses in reply to specific support requests, or in response to technical issues detected by Computaris’ proactive monitoring. There is no need to unsubscribe from these interactive mailings.

Third party mailings: occasionally, Computaris may contract with a third party to communicate on Computaris’ behalf to the third party’s contacts. We do not collect your email address or contact information from this third party, and we do not have access to their mailing list. Depending on the nature of the third party mailing, we may, in order to comply with applicable laws, provide the third party with a suppression list of contacts to exclude from their list. The third party does not have permission to keep or market to this list, or to use it in any way other than as a suppression list for a mailing they are providing on Computaris’ behalf.

Notification of changes in this privacy policy

We may revise/change these terms of use and the confidentiality policy at any time by changing this page. Changes to this privacy policy will be posted to the web site. Though we will not change this policy in such a way to significantly reduce a user’s expected level of privacy, we do encourage users to return to the privacy policy periodically to review the policy and to consider any changes as they are abiding to them.

Jurisdiction and applicable law

The courts of the Republic of Romania will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our site. These terms of use are governed by Romanian law.

Email Terms of Use

This policy is about our emails and any related and approved attachments delivered via our email servers within our registered domain “” (herein referred as “our Messages”) by our employees, employees of Computaris group, and those we work with (herein referred as “our Employees”) as part of our business operations. It covers confidentiality notices, misdelivery concerns, security, employee liability notices and concerns regarding unintentionally entering into contracts. It serves as a reference to disclaimers for our Messages sent by our Employees. It is not related to emails provided due to subscriptions to our website containing public information.


This subsection covers any breach of confidentiality that may occur, addressing the notification and protection of confidential material in use.

Please note that our Messages are intended only for the use of the addressee and may contain Computaris information that is privileged and confidential. Please protect this information accordingly and do not store such information on unprotected systems directly accessible from the Internet. The disclosure and/or dissemination of our Messages, without prior written consent from Computaris or Computaris authorized representatives, is considered a breach of confidentiality and may be identified as a criminal offence. In such case, we will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities for any required actions in order to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.


This subsection provides information in case our Messages are erroneously misdelivered.

Due to human interactions, our Messages may be misdelivered as a result of inaccuracies or errors when referring addressees. We apologize in advance for any inconveniences this may cause. When such situations occur, are identified and reported, we will immediately take all appropriate actions to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. We impose constrains and follow the best practices for such situations not to happen, however, if an addressee of our Messages is not the intended recipient or an authorized representative of the intended recipient, hereby is notified that any disclosure, dissemination, distribution or taking any action in reliance to the contents of such communication is strictly prohibited. If such communication has been received in error, please (1) do not access any attachment, (2) notify the sender immediately by return email, and (3) completely remove such communication, including your return email, from your owned and/or managed systems, including from the “Deleted items” folder or any folders with similar scope, and any applicable backups.


This subsection warns recipients of our Messages about the possibility of an email carrying a computer virus.

Please note that our company has taken reasonable precautions to ensure that no viruses are present in our Messages. Please also be aware that viruses can be transmitted via email. Email transmission cannot be guaranteed to be secure as information could be intercepted, corrupted, incomplete, or contain viruses. The recipient should also check our Messages for the presence of viruses. Computaris accepts no liability for any damage caused by any virus transmitted by our Messages, neither for any errors or omissions to the contents of our Messages, which arise as a result of email transmission.


This subsection protects against being liable for negligent advice on behalf of our Employees.

The views and/or opinions included in our Messages belong solely to their author and do not necessarily mirror the views and/or opinions of the company. Our Employees are obliged and expressly required not to make any defamatory statements and not to infringe or authorize any infringement of copyright or any other legal right via email communications. Any such communication is contrary to company policy and outside the scope of the employment of the individual concerned. Therefore, the company will not accept nor take any liability in respect of such communication or statements included in our Messages, or for the consequences of any actions taken on the basis of the information provided, unless that information is subsequently confirmed in writing. In case of any damages or other liabilities arising, our Employees involved are fully responsible and will be personally liable for the content of their emails.

Unintended entering into contracts

This subsection highlights that an email will not form the basis of a legally binding contract.

No employee or agent is authorized to conclude any binding agreement on behalf of Computaris or Computaris group with another party by email without express written confirmation by designated and authorized supervisor or director.

This subsection notifies about Computaris registered marketing materials which may be included in our Messages.

Various names and symbols contained in our Messages are registered trademarks of Computaris or our affiliates and requires to be protected accordingly.

It is prohibited to use in any way, without the prior written consent of Computaris, the Computaris intellectual property which shall include but is not limited to: Computaris’ name, logo, trademarks, or any other similar intellectual property, irrespective of the fact if such items are registered or not.
